More PLARN days to come

PERRY COUNTY — Paddle Perry and Small Town Java made a loom for their weavers.

Next PLARN prep day is Aug. 13 and 27 from 1 to 3 p.m. at Blue Heron Winery, where they will turn plastic bags into plastic yarn for their later craft days.

They’ll be weaving and crocheting plastic mats this October at the new Tell City Regional Arts location. Mats will be donated to local charities that assist with homeless in the area. These mats are good for layering sleeping pads and keeping homeless off the ground and dry.
